The key to creating a gallery wall is finding the right balance between photos and artwork. You want enough photos to give the wall some personality, but not so many that it becomes overwhelming.
For this particular project, I used a mixture of black and white photos of my family with a few colorful pieces of artwork thrown in for good measure. The best part about this project is that it doesn't require any DIY skills whatsoever. You can easily hang up your gallery wall within an hour or two while watching TV or listening to music.
Here are some tips on how to hang a gallery wall:
1) Pick out your photos and artwork first (you may want to start collecting them beforehand). This way you can look at your options before deciding on how many pieces will fit on your wall.
2) Once you've decided what photos and artwork will be included in your gallery wall, arrange them according to size and shape so that everything looks balanced when hung on the wall together. This step is important! It's much easier to do this before mounting anything onto the wall than after everything is hung up because it's difficult to rearrange items once they're
